In order to thank our members for their trust and support to the Guangdong Imported Food Association and to strengthen communication, the Vice Presidents ' Day was held in Guangzhou on June 1.
As a sponsor of this event, Ms. Zhang Heng, chairman of the Wisepower Group, led the participants for a tour of the company. After the tour, the event proceeded to the meeting and exchange sessions.
The meeting was held at Guangzhou Xin Tian Restaurant. First, IFA President Mr. Qi Yilong gave a welcome speech. IFA Secretary-General Mr. Zhu Jianghui introduced the vice president and executive director enterprises. Then, IFA Executive Vice President Mr. Jiang Ding gave a report on the work of the association in the first half of 2018 and described in detail the work plan for the second half of the year. The present leaders appreciated the work of the association in the first half of the year and expressed their vision for the future. They are willing to give full play to the function of the association to contribute to the development of the industry.
Then, the meeting entered the exchange session, in which the participants had deep and heated discussion on how to make full use of the advantages of the association to achieve win-win cooperation and how the imported food industry can develop with the new policies in Hainan.
President Qi said that the association will work together with its members to achieve win-win cooperation. Additionally, he believes that with all the favorable conditions, Hainan’s new policies will greatly benefit the development of the imported food industry. Other present leaders also enthusiastically put forward their own views. Some of them expressed that the reduced duties on food import has greatly promoted the development of the imported food industry in the country, and they hoped that the association would work together with the members to further improve the imported food ecosphere.
Finally, Wisepower Group presented a gift to the Guangdong Imported Food Association to wish a win-win cooperation between the two parties.
The event ended in a pleasant conversation. Through this meeting, the present leaders offered advice and suggestions and contributed wisdom. They spoke highly of the event. In the future, the Guangdong Imported Food Association will organize more such activities to enhance communication between member enterprises.
