(6 May 2019, Hong Kong) ProWine Asia, the region’s premier wines and spirits trade fair, makes its eagerly awaited return tomorrow when it opens its second edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) alongside HOFEX, Asia’s largest food and hospitality tradeshow. Part of the world’s leading wines and spirits show ProWein, ProWine Asia will feature more than 330 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions in addition to a programme of insightful presentations, masterclasses and other insider events that run from 7-10 May.
Located across 7,000m2 of space in Hall 3 F&G, the four-day event offers wine and spirits importers, producers, retailers, distributors, buyers, sommeliers, bartenders, investors and other trade professionals the opportunity to view, taste and source thousands of world-class products from across the globe while keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and innovations. Known as the gateway to the coveted Northeast Asia market, ProWine Asia @ HOFEX also provides an unrivalled platform for international exhibitors looking to expand in the booming region.
As well as discovering new and established wines and spirits from all over the world – from single-malt whiskies and cocktails to champagne and special regional vintages – visitors to the show will be able to meet suppliers from a variety of countries, including 13 group pavilions covering Hungary, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the US and more.
Among the show’s other highlights are the elegant Champagne Lounge and the esteemed Wine Forum, which will feature industry luminaries such as Debra Meiburg MW, Jennifer Docherty MW, Darius Allyn MS, Lu Yang MS and Sarah Heller MW.
