On 23th Sep, Ms Eija Tynkkynen, Commercial Counsellor of Business Finland and her team made an official visit to Guangdong (China) Imported Food Association (IFA). Ms Eija Tynkkynen received a warm welcome from President Wolfgang Qi and his IFA team.
During the meeting, Ms Eija Tynkkynen introduced the Food from Finland program, popular Finland food products and Finland food culture. As more and more finish food products get licenses to export to China. It's highly expected that Finnish food export volume to china will increase greatly in the next few years.
President Qi introduced the “Food2China 4-in-1” services, explained how the good partnership, good product launch area, good promoting and sale platform are key factors for a long term success. Ms Eija Tynkkynen agreed to President Qi’s opinions and willing to strengthen cooperation with IFA to promote the Food from Finland program.
Two parties discussed further about possibility for Finnish companies joining Food2China online matchmaking events, as well as participate in 2020 Guangzhou International Food Festival by November. They reach a preliminary consensus and more details will be discussed online.
